Public Enemy Creative Treatments

The Approach

After speaking with Kevin about his creative process, what he envisioned and where he could present these images, I produced the results below.

The Opportunity

CEO Kevin Calloway of IJHANA asked me for some creative imaging treatments on some select photographs they produced, to make them more iconic for marketing and fine art purposes.

Lessons Learned

Photoshop has specific file formats (outside of standard .PSDs called “.PSB”s) when working with such large files and saving a large number of layers, leveraging this file type was key to the success of generating these images.

The Design Process

The design process consisted of opening up these full resolution files and I began experimenting with a plethora of layers and effects to get these results that Kevin really enjoyed.

Final Thoughts

This was a really fun and endearing project, helping Kevin realize what was possible with some of his existing assets. I must admit, when starting with great content / images, having excellent outcomes becomes much easier.
